Obwohl das Fellhorn einer der populärsten Gipfel des Allgäus und dementsprechend frequentiert ist, finden sich in der Umgebung ruhige Plätze und schöne, fast einsame Routen. Wir genießen die schöne Aussicht auf Kleinwalsertal und Allgäuer Alpen auf dem Gratweg und entfliehen dem Trubel rund um das Fellhorn. Unterhalb der Kanzelwand mit Blick ins Warmatsgundtal gehen wir auf angenehmen Wegen und kommen über Wiesen- und Höhenwege. Der kleine Guggersee ist wunderbar einsam gelegen und beeindruckt vor allem durch seine schöne Lage inmitten von Latschenkiefern und Wiesen mit Blick auf Trettachspitze, Mädelegabel und Hochfrottspitze.
