Am Nordufer kommen wir durch den Ort Hopfen am See, dessen Uferpromenade wegen ihrer zahlreichen Cafés und Restaurants auch "Allgäuer Riviera" genannt wird. Hier lockt nicht nur die gemütliche Einkehr mit wunderschönem Alpenblick, sondern an warmen Tagen auch ein Besuch des Strandbads, denn der Hopfensee ist einer der wärmsten Voralpenseen.
