Family Friendly Hiking Route to Neuschwanstein and Marienbrücke

It is no doubt that Neuschwanstein is one of the most scenic views in all of Europe. This hike takes you right to the castle as well as around to the Marienbrücke before taking a nice shaded stroll through the forest on the way back down. This route is perfect for families with smaller kids as there are nice wide trails and it is not a very difficult route. On the way up you will likely see the horses and trailers offering rides to those that need a boost getting up the hill, and on the way down you might see a few mountain bikers. There is also a nice small waterfall on the way down to splash around in.
