Viele Menschen aller Nationalitäten reisen, wenn Sie den Inbegriff von Italien besichtigen wollen, in die Cinque Terre, die fünf Orte an der Steilküste von Ligurien. Hier ist zu Bewahrung der Ursprünglichkeit extra ein Nationalpark gegründet worden. Auch wenn die Orte heute - im Gegensatz zu früheren Zeiten - überwiegend auch mit dem Auto erreichbar sind (außer Vernazza), so haben die Orte doch ihre Ursprünglichkeit bewahrt. In der Hochsaison teilweise überlaufen, so hat man bei einer guten Terminwahl doch noch einige Augenblicke der Ruhe für sich und um die permanenten fantastischen Ausblicke zu geniessen.
