Der Freundschaftsweg (Via dell'Amicizia) ist einer der bekanntesten Klettersteige am Gardasee. Seine zwei langen Leitern haben ihn zum beliebten Ziel bei Klettersteigliebhabern gemacht. Die Aus- und vor allem Tiefblicke auf die Gassen der Altstadt von Riva del Garda sind fantastisch. Gerade im Hochsommer empfinden es viele Begeher auch als angenehm, dass die Steiganlage die größte Zeit des Tages im Schatten liegt. Die Ausrichtung des Steiges ist ostseitig. Die Orientierung in Zu- und Abstieg gelingt problemlos. Lediglich die vielen Serpentinen im Abstieg scheinen kein Ende zu nehmen. Zur Belohnung kann man sich in eines der vielen Cafés in Riva setzen und das typische Flair am Nordufer des Gardasees genießen.
